When i was in High school I had this Teacher Mr Scott he taught Art and History not just any history but oral as well as religious and world History, He was a Native American he was fun and he provoked students to think for themselves in a time when schools just wanted to churn a student out and not educate, He told me that the reason we study all history is so we don't repeat the Mistakes of history and to create a World for all Brothers and Sisters.
Mr Scott also taught Mythology Greek, Roman ,and Native American, this was my favorite Class. His Artwork was extraordinary considering he was missing 3 fingers on his left hand and he was a South pa like me, He liked me he took me on Nature walks and gave me free art Lessons, Mr Scott was Killed in 1979 by some Red Neck Racists on March 18th they beat him to Death with Baseball Bats for being Native American they never caught the Murders but no Indians were out in town after 6pm just like the Black folks.........( to be continued)
